This Privacy Policy is applicable to all Users of the Betbus Platform. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully, as your access to and use of the Betbus Platform signifies that you have read and understood all the terms contained herein. The Company respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data.
1. DEFINITIONS
1.1 “Betbus” means Betbus online gaming platform and website that allows Users to, inter alia, register bets through their personal account and receive winnings via their personal account;
1.2 “Betbus Platform” means the Betbus Platform, an interactive online gaming platform and website, that allows Users to, inter alia, register bets through their personal account and receive winnings via their personal account, wholly owned and operated by the Company;
1.3 “Company” means AI Sports (Pty) Ltd, a company duly incorporated in accordance with the company laws of the Republic of South Africa with registration number: 2022/639216/07 and registered address at: Office 3, Nicher Business Centre, 28 Waterfall Avenue, Riverside Industrial, Mpumalanga, Mbombela, South Africa, 1226, being the owner and operator of the Betbus Platform;
1.4 "Content" means all material uploaded to the Betbus Platform, including games, photos, audio (for example, dialogue, music and other sounds), data, text (such as comments and hashtags), metadata, images, interactive features, GIFs, and any other uploaded material whatsoever;
1.5 “General Terms and Conditions” means the Betbus General Terms and Conditions policy document governing access to and use of the Betbus Platform applicable to all Users;
1.6 “Personal Data” means the personal information listed in clause 3.2.1 to 3.2.10;
1.7 “Services” means the Betbus Platform and Content made available on the Betbus Platform;
1.8 “User” means any user of Betbus, that participates in the online games uploaded to/affiliated with the Betbus Platform;
1.9 “you”, “your” means Users.
2. INTRODUCTION
2.1 The Company operates the Betbus Platform and is the controller of the information collected or provided via the Betbus Platform.
2.2 This Betbus Privacy Policy explains what personal data is collected through the Betbus Platform, how the Company uses and shares that data, and your choices concerning the Company’s data practices. This Betbus Privacy Policy forms part of the Betbus General Terms and Conditions, which are available at: www.betbus.co.za
2.3 By providing the Company with your personal data when using and/or accessing the Betbus Platform, you understand and agree to the practices described in this Betbus Privacy Policy. If you do not understand and agree to this Betbus Privacy Policy, please do not access or use the Betbus Platform.
3. PERSONAL DATA THE COMPANY COLLECTS
3.1 When you use the Betbus Platform, the Company collects information that, alone or in combination with other information, could be used to identify you.
3.2 The Company collects the following personal data dependent on your interactions with the Company and your use of the Company Services:
3.2.1 identifiers: username, real name, email address, identification number, identification document issue date and issuing authority, passport number or other similar identifiers;
3.2.2 personal information: birth date, age, gender, your interests, preferences, feedback, survey responses, your preferences in receiving marketing from the Company and third parties, and your communication preferences, profile picture, including any other information which you voluntarily provide to the Company at your direction for a specific purpose;
3.2.3 payment information: if you subscribe, the Company collects payment card or account details and all information necessary to process payments;
3.2.4 commercial information: the Company collects information relating to your personal property, products or services purchased, obtained, or considered, or other purchasing histories or tendencies;
3.2.5 biometric information: while the Company does not collect biometric information, if you choose to authenticate yourself through certain service providers used by the Company, they may collect biometric information subject to their privacy policies, the Company is never provided access to that information;
3.2.6 location Information: the Company may receive information about your location. The Company may also determine location by using other data from your device, such as precise location information from GPS, information about wireless networks or cell towers near your mobile device, or your IP address;
3.2.7 internet or other electronic network activity information: such as browsing history, search history, and information regarding consumer interaction with an internet website, application, or advertisement;
3.2.8 usage information: the Company collects information about how you use the Company Services, such as the type of Content you view or engage with, the features you use, the actions you take, the other Users you interact with and the time, frequency and duration of your activities;
3.2.9 device information: including, the type of device you are using, operating system, settings, unique device identifiers, network information and other device-specific information. Information collected may depend on the type of device you use and its settings;
3.2.10 log data: information that your browser automatically sends whenever you visit the Betbus Platform. Log data includes your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address (so the Company is aware of the country you are connecting from when you visit the Betbus Platform), browser type and settings, the date and time of your request, and how you interacted with the Company Services.
3.3 The Company will not collect additional categories of Personal Data other than those categories listed above. If the Company intends collecting additional categories of Personal Data, the Company shall provide you with a new notice at or before the time of collection.
4. WHERE YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS COLLECTED FROM
4.1 The Company collects Personal Data from the following sources:
4.1.1 directly from you when you open an account and use the Company Services, or when you update your account information;
4.1.2 indirectly from you, for example, through and as a result of your use of and access to the Company Services. The Company also collects IP addresses and browser types from the devices you use; and
4.1.3 from our service providers.
5. HOW THE COMPANY USES YOUR PERSONAL DATA
5.1 It is the Company’s priority to ensure that the Content can be enjoyed by everyone, and that it complies with the Betbus General Terms and Conditions. In order to do so, the Company collects and processes your Personal Data for the following business and commercial purposes:
5.1.1 to authenticate Users and provide the Service;
5.1.2 to respond to your inquiries and fulfill your requests for products and services;
5.1.3 to enforce the Betbus General Terms and Conditions and other usage policies;
5.1.4 to customize the Betbus Services for you, including providing recommendations, personalized advertising and content. For example, the Company uses information on your use of Betbus Services features, including information that the Company obtains through Cookies, to better understand your needs and interests in order to personalize your experience with our Betbus Services by presenting products and offers tailored to your interests. The Company uses your public information and your location information to infer what topics you may be interested in, and to customize the content the Company shows you, including ads, with more relevant content like local trends and suggestions for games to play;
5.1.5 to send administrative information to you, for example, information regarding the Betbus Platform, and changes to the Betbus terms, conditions, and policies;
5.1.6 to provide, maintain and improve the content and functionality of the Betbus Services. For example, the Company regularly fixes bugs or user experience issues that may be tied to particular user accounts;
5.1.7 to conduct research and provide reports to third parties;
5.1.8 to keep basic data to identify you and prevent further unwanted processing;
5.1.9 to prevent fraud or criminal activity, misuse of the Betbus Services, and ensure the security of our Information Technology systems, architecture and networks;
5.1.10 to comply with legal obligations and legal process and respond to requests from public and government authorities including public and government authorities outside your country of residence;
5.1.11 to protect the Company operations or those of any of the Company’s affiliates and protect the Company’s rights, privacy, safety or property, and/or that of the Company’s affiliates, you or others;
5.1.12 to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that the Company may sustain, as required or permitted by law;
5.1.13 for marketing purposes; and
5.1.14 the Company may display targeted advertisements based on your Personal Data. The Company does not provide any Personal Data to the advertiser when a User interacts with or views a targeted advertisement. Third parties (including ad serving companies) may assume that Users who interact with, view, or click targeted advertisements meet the targeting criteria (for example, individuals aged 18–24 from a particular geographic area). However, please be aware that by interacting with or viewing an advertisement the third party may make the assumption that you meet the targeting criteria used to display the advertisement.
5.2 From time to time, we may request information from you via surveys and/or competitions. Participation in these surveys and/or competitions is completely voluntary and you have the choice whether or not to disclose your Personal Data.
5.3 By taking part in any competition and/or accepting winnings (prizes) from us, you consent to the use of your name for promotional purposes without additional remuneration, except where prohibited by law.
5.4 If you have not unequivocally elected to receive promotional information from us, we may use your personal information (including your email address and phone number) to provide you with information regarding our products, services, and promotions, including other gaming products (such as online poker, game, betting, backgammon, et cetera) and third-party products and services carefully selected by us.
6. OUR LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING
6.1 The Company has the following legal basis for processing your Personal Data for the purposes described herein:
6.1.1 performance of a contract: by using the Betbus Services, you have contracted with the Company through the Betbus General Terms and Conditions, and the Company will process certain Personal Data to perform under our contract;
6.1.2 legitimate interest: the Company may process Personal Data for the Company’s legitimate interests, including complying with applicable legislation, rules or regulations, investigations or remedies; enforcing the Betbus General Terms and Conditions; protecting our, Users’ or others’ rights, property and safety; and detecting and resolving any fraud or security concerns;
6.1.3 advertising: for the purposes of customization of advertising, marketing and analytics for the legitimate interests of the Company;
6.1.4 compliance with legal obligations and protection of individuals: the Company may process personal data to comply with the Company legal obligations, including as required by valid legal process, governmental request and to protect those individuals who use the Betbus Services and others; and
6.1.5 in specific circumstances where you have provided your consent to such processing.
7. DISCLOSURE OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
7.1 The Company discloses Personal Data:
7.1.1 within the Company: the Company may disclose Personal Data to employees, shareholders, directors and members of the Company, including affiliates and related entities, to the extent necessary for the purposes listed herein;
7.1.2 to service providers: the Company discloses the Personal Data to authorized service providers that perform certain services on behalf of the Company. These services may include payment processing, identity and document authenticity verification, risk and fraud detection and mitigation, customer service, marketing and advertising, customization of content, analytics, security, or hosting the Betbus Platform or supporting its functionality. These service providers may have access to Personal Data needed to perform their obligations but are not permitted to share or use such information for any other purposes;
7.1.3 to other entities in respect of a business transfer: if the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing due diligence, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of all or a portion of the Company assets or transition of service to another provider, your Personal Data and other information may be transferred to a successor or affiliate as part of that transaction along with other assets; or
7.1.4 to regulators, law enforcement or others: where the Company reasonably believes such disclosure is needed to (i) enforce applicable terms and conditions, including investigation of potential violations thereof, (ii) satisfy any applicable legislation, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, (iii) to detect, prevent, or otherwise address illegal or suspected illegal activities, security or technical issues, (iv) protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of the Company, our Creators and Users, employees or others, or (v) to maintain and protect the security and integrity of the Betbus Platform or infrastructure. In such cases the Company may raise or waive any legal objection or right available to the Company, in its sole discretion.
7.2 If, in our opinion and sole determination, you are found to have deceived us or attempted to deceive us, or any other service provider affiliated with the Betbus Platform in any manner whatsoever, including but not limited to:
7.2.1 game tampering;
7.2.2 payment fraud, including the use of stolen credit cards, or any other fraudulent activity, comprising any payment reversal or other, payment cancellation, or prohibited transactions, such as money laundering;
we reserve our right to share this information and your Personal Data with other online gaming sites, banks, credit card companies, appropriate regulatory agencies, and relevant law enforcement authorities.
7.3 For the purpose of public research on the prevention of addiction, your Personal Data may be referred to the appropriate institutions.
8. COOKIES AND AUTOMATIC DATA COLLECTION TECHNOLOGIES
8.1 As is more fully described in our Cookie Policy, the Betbus Platform uses automatic data collection technologies to collect website activity data.
8.2 The Company uses cookies, which are small text files that are stored in your web browser or downloaded to your device when you visit a website.
8.3 By choosing to use the Betbus Platform after being notified of our use of cookies in the ways described in this Betbus Privacy Policy, you agree to such use of cookies.
9. THIRD-PARTY USE OF COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
9.1 Some content or applications, including advertisements, on the Betbus Platform are provided by third parties. These third parties may use cookies alone or in conjunction with other tracking technologies to collect information about you when you use the Betbus Platform. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the Betbus Platform does not provide any Personal Data to these third parties, however they may collect information, including your IP address, advertisements you click, time zone setting and location, and information about your browser, operating system and devices you use to access the Betbus Platform. They may use this information to provide you with interest-based advertising or other targeted content. They may track users across different websites over time.
9.2 You can set your browser to refuse third-party cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent.
10. YOUR RIGHTS REGARDING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
10.1 You have certain rights regarding the Personal Data the Company collects, uses or discloses and that is related to you, including the right:
10.1.1 to receive information on the Personal Data the Company holds about you and how such Personal Data is used;
10.1.2 to access, modify, correct or delete Personal Data about you;
10.1.3 to know which third parties the Company has shared your Personal Data with;
10.1.4 to receive your Personal Data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to transmit the Personal Data to another data controller;
10.1.5 to withdraw your consent, where processing Personal Data is based on consent;
10.1.6 to object to the use of your Personal Data where such use is based on our legitimate interest or on public interests;
10.1.7 to, in certain instances, restrict our use of your Personal Data, and;
10.1.8 to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority located in your country or where an alleged violation of law occurred.
10.2 Your rights may vary depending on the laws that apply to you.

10.4 Please note, unless you have created an account on the Betbus Platform, the Company may not have sufficient information to identify you and therefore may not be in a position to respond to your request. Additionally, in some cases in order to adequately verify your identity or your authorization to make the request, the Company may require you to provide additional information.
10.5 Note that some requests to delete certain personal information may require the deletion of your account as the provision accounts are inexplicably linked to the use of your Personal Data.
11. AMENDING PERSONAL DATA
11.1 It is your responsibility to:
11.1.1 ensure that your Personal Data remains complete, accurate and up-to-date and you are required to promptly inform the Company of any amendments to be made to your Personal Data; and
11.1.2 review all of your information carefully before submitting it to the Company.
11.2 Any amendments to your Personal Data may be made by contacting the Company at support@betbus.co.za or via your Betbus account settings on the Betbus Platform. The Company reserves the right to deny access as permitted or required by applicable legislation.
11.3 Depending on the laws that apply to you, you may obtain certain Personal Data from the Company.
12. YOUR CHOICES ABOUT HOW THE COMPANY COLLECTS, USES AND DISCLOSES YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
12.1 You can choose not to provide the Company with certain personal information, how the Company communicates with you, and how the Company processes certain personal information.
12.2 You may decline to provide the Company with certain information which may result in you being unable to access and/or use certain features of the Betbus Services because such information is required in order for you to access and/or use those Services.
12.3 You may set your browser to refuse some or all cookies and you may also opt out of Google Analytics by visiting the Google Analytics opt-out page.
12.4 You may opt out of receiving marketing emails from the Company using the opt-out link provided in the Company emails or other instructions provided in any email message received from the Company. You can also send the Company an email to support@betbus.co.za, by including “Opt-out” in the subject line and in the body of the email include your name and email address used to sign up for communications. If you are a registered User, the Company may continue to send you other transactional and relationship email communications, such as emails about your account, orders, administrative notices and surveys.
12.5 You can limit or prevent the Company’s ability to receive location information from you, you can deny or remove permission for certain Services to access location information or deactivate location services on your device. Please refer to your device manufacturer or operating system instructions for instructions on how to do this.
12.6 You may also delete and deactivate your account with the Company at any time. If you do so, your profile will no longer be accessible to you. If you later choose to have an account on the Betbus Platform, you will have to sign up for a new account as none of the information you previously provided or saved within your account will have been retained.
13. DATA RETENTION
13.1 The Company shall keep your Personal Data for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Betbus Privacy Policy, while the Company has a legitimate business need to do so, or as required by law (e.g., for tax, legal, accounting or other purposes), whichever is the longer. If you have elected to receive marketing communications from the Company, the Company retains information about your marketing preferences until you opt-out of receiving these communications and in accordance with our policies.
13.2 To determine the appropriate retention period for your Personal Data, the Company will consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the Personal Data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of your Personal Data, the purposes for which the Company use your Personal Data and whether the Company can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements. In some circumstances the Company may anonymize your Personal Data so that it can no longer be associated with you, in which case it is no longer Personal Data.
14. SECURITY RELATING TO PERSONAL DATA
14.1 The Company uses reasonable and appropriate physical, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to ensure the security of the Company systems and protect your Personal Data. The safeguards include:
14.1.1 the encryption of personal data where the Company deems appropriate;
14.1.2 our Services support SSL Version 3 with 128-bit encryption;
14.1.3 the use of active up-to-date firewall software;
14.1.4 taking steps to ensure Personal Data is password-protected, backed up and remains available in the event of a security incident; and
14.1.5 periodic testing, assessment, and evaluation of the effectiveness of the Company safeguards.
14.2 You use the Services at your own risk. Although the Company takes steps to protect the Personal Data provided via the Services from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, no internet or email transmission is ever fully secure or error free. In particular, emails sent to or from the Services may not be secure. Therefore, you should take special care in deciding what information you send to the Company via email. Please keep this in mind when disclosing any Personal Data to the Company via the internet.
14.3 The Company cannot control the actions of other Users with whom you may choose to share information. Therefore, the Company cannot, and does not, guarantee that information or content posted by a User on or through the Services will not be viewed by unauthorized persons. The Company is not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Services or Social Media Services. The Betbus Platform takes measures to protect its data that contains information related to you. However, as a consideration for viewing the Betbus Platform or interacting with it in any manner, you waive all claims of any nature against the Company concerning loss, alteration, or misuse of information. You must assume that it is possible for your Personal Data to be obtained by others, such as “hackers”, and used in an inappropriate manner that may cause you harm. You agree that the Company is not responsible for any damages you may suffer as a result of unauthorised access to or dispersal or use of your Personal Data.
15. CONSENT TO USE OF ELECTRONIC SERVICE PROVIDERS
15.1 In order to play real money games on the Betbus Platform, you will be required to transfer money to and receive money from us. To facilitate such services and process the required financial transactions, we may use third-party electronic payment systems.
15.2 By agreeing to and accepting this Privacy Policy, you expressly and voluntarily consent to the transfer of your Personal Data to third parties, which may be necessary for the processing and completion of monetary transactions including, when necessary, to transfer your Personal Data outside of your country of residence.
15.3 We confirm that the necessary measures shall be implemented to ensure that your Personal Data is protected when using third-party payment systems.
16. CONSENT TO SECURITY REVIEWS
16.1 We reserve the right to conduct a security review at any time to validate the registration details provided by you and to verify your financial transactions and the correct use of our Services by you, in order to prevent potential breaches of the Betbus Terms and Conditions and/or any applicable law and regulations.
16.2 By using our Services and agreeing to the Betbus Terms and Conditions, you authorize us to utilise and disclose your Personal Data to third parties for the purposes of validating the information provided during registration and use of our Services, including, where necessary, the transfer of your Personal Data outside your country of residence.
16.3 Security reviews may include but are not limited to ordering a credit report from the various Credit Bureaus and otherwise verifying the information you provide against third-party databases.
17. PAYMENT INFORMATION
Subscription payments are processed by third party payment providers. When you make a payment that is processed by a payment provider, you will provide that third party with your credit card number, credit card expiration date, and security code, which they process and store subject to their privacy policy and terms of service. The Company does not receive your full credit card number, credit card expiration date, or the security code. If you are required to provide your name and email address to the payment provider, then they provide the Company with that information. Payments issued to Creators for their Content are made by the Company using the banking information that the Company has collected and stored.
18. PROTECTION OF MINORS
18.1 Our Services are not intended for persons under the age of 18 or the lawful age of majority in your respective jurisdiction. Individuals under the age of 18 are not permitted to use the Services, and the Company does not knowingly collect information from individuals under the age of 18. By using the Services, you warrant and represent that you are 18 years of age or older.
18.2 It is our policy to uncover attempts by minors to access our Services which may require an additional security review.
18.3 If we become aware that a minor has attempted to or has submitted Personal Data via our Services, we will not accept their information and will take all steps necessary to purge their information from our records.
19. LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES
The Betbus Platform may contain links to other websites not operated or controlled by the Company (“Third Party Sites”), including the Social Media Services. The information that you share with Third Party Sites will be governed by the specific privacy policies and terms of service of the Third Party Sites and not by this Betbus Privacy Policy. By providing these links, the Company does not imply that the Company endorses or has reviewed these sites. Please contact those sites directly for information on their privacy policy.
20. CHANGES TO THE BETBUS PRIVACY POLICY
The Services and the Company business may change from time to time. As a result, the Company may change this Betbus Privacy Policy at any time and when the Company does, the Company will post an updated version on this page, unless another type of notice is required by the applicable law. By continuing to use the Betbus Platform or providing the Company with information after the Company has posted an updated Betbus Privacy Policy, or notified you if applicable, you consent to the revised Betbus Privacy Policy and practices described in it.
21. SOUTH AFRICA AND INTERNATIONAL USERS
The Company is based in the Republic of South Africa. If you are accessing the Company Services from other regions with laws governing data collection and use, please note that your Personal Data will be transmitted to our servers in South Africa and the data may be transmitted to our service providers supporting our business operations as is more fully described previously in this Privacy Policy. South Africa may have data protection laws less stringent than or otherwise different from the laws in effect in the country in which you are located. Where the Company transfers your Personal Data out of South Africa, the Company will take steps to ensure that your Personal Data receives an adequate level of protection where it is processed, and your rights continue to be protected. By providing your information to the Services you agree to the transfer of your information to South Africa and processing globally in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
22. APPLICABILITY OF THIS BETBUS PRIVACY POLICY
22.1 The Betbus Privacy Policy is subject to the Betbus General Terms and Conditions and other policies that govern your use of the Services. This Privacy Policy applies regardless of the means used to access or provide information through the Services.
22.2 This Privacy Policy does not apply to Personal Data collected by any third-party services, applications, or advertisements associated with, or websites linked from, the Services. The collection or receipt of your information by such third parties is subject to their own privacy policies, statements, and practices, and under no circumstances shall the Company be responsible or liable for any third party’s compliance therewith.
23. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
23.1 Any Personal Data we collect may be stored and processed in any country in which we or our affiliates, suppliers, partners or agents provide Services relating to the Betbus Platform.
23.2 By using our Services, you expressly consent to any transfer of information outside your country (including to countries that may not be considered as having adequate privacy laws).
23.3 Notwithstanding the above, Betbus shall implement the requisite procedures to ensure that our agents, partners, affiliates, and suppliers comply with our standards of privacy and this Privacy Policy irrespective of their geographic location.
24. ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING AND COMBATTING OF FINANCIAL TERRORISM
24.1 Betbus has implemented the necessary measures to combat money laundering and international terrorism. These measures are more fully outlined in the Betbus AML Policy.
24.2 To fulfill its legal obligations, the Company is bound to inform competent authorities should there be any reason to suspect that funds which were deposited by the User into their account are related to illegal activity and/or terrorism financing.
24.3 The Company is obliged to block the account, restrict the use of such funds and undertake measures provided for in the Betbus AML Policy.
24.4 For ease of reference, “money laundering” refers to:
24.4.1 hiding or keeping private information regarding the real source, location, disposal, movement, ownership or other property rights related to property obtained as a result of illegal activity;
24.4.2 conversion, moving, obtaining, possession or use of property which was obtained as a result of criminal activity for the purpose of concealing the illicit source of such property or assisting persons involved in crime to avoid legal consequences of their actions;
24.4.3 a situation in which the property was obtained as a result of criminal activity committed in the territory of another state.
24.5 The Company applies internal laws and regulations and special measures to assist both national and international organizations in combating money laundering and terrorism financing globally.
24.6 When you create an account with Betbus, you agree to undertake the following obligations:
24.6.1 You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations in respect of combating money laundering and terrorism financing, including the Betbus АМL Policy.
24.6.2 You confirm that you have no information or any suspicions about funds deposited in your Betbus account in the past, present or future and unequivocally warrant that no funds were received from any illegal source or other unlawful activity prohibited by applicable law and that the funds were not deposited pursuant to the instructions of any unlawful national or international organizations;
24.6.3 You agree to immediately provide any information we may require in terms of the applicable laws and regulatory requirements in respect of combating the legalization of funds obtained illegally.
24.7 The Company collects and retains the passport or other identification information of the User, and reports on all changes made in the account.
24.8 The Company monitors any suspicious activity on the User's account, as well as operations carried out under special conditions.
24.9 In the event the Company suspects that any transaction in respect of a Betbus account has been utilized in pursuit of money laundering or other criminal activity, the Company reserves its right to ban the User immediately.
24.10 In accordance with international law the Company is not obliged to inform the User about their suspicions, nor will the company be obliged to inform the User that the matter has been referred to the relevant authorities.
24.11 In accordance with the Company’s internal AML procedures, the Company performs initial and ongoing personal identity verification procedures as provided by the level of risk of each User. In so doing, the Company shall:
24.11.1 Request the minimum set of identification data required to verify and confirm your identity, which includes the User's full name; date of birth (for individuals); residential address or registered address of the User;
24.11.2 record and preserve all Personal Data, as well as record the methods of confirmation that have been used and the results of verification procedures;
24.11.3 verify your Personal Data against the list of persons suspected of terrorism, which is formed by the authorized state and independent authorities;
24.11.4 request confirmation and verification of the source/s of funds that you intend depositing into your Betbus account.
24.12 To verify and confirm the authenticity of the above-mentioned data, the Company may require the following documents:
24.12.1 passport or identification document issued by the national authorities that records the User’s name, date of birth and a photograph of the document holder;
24.12.2 a utility bill with proof of payment, not older than 3 months, or other documents confirming the address of the User.
24.13 The Company may also require additional information with supporting documentation. In certain cases, the Company may also require notarized copies of documents from the User.
